#WHY WONT UTORRENT DOWNLOAD UPDATE#
You could try to update that manually and see if that helps. In general several people have had issues with the libtorrent version that shipped with the latest version of deluge. You can set the from and the to to the same number. They way you have it set up now it will pick a different number every time you restart it. You should uncheck that box for the random port for incoming connections and change it to a static number. It is probably something that needs to be done in the router, but it could be a firewall on your computer as well. The no incoming connections error is related to not having your ports forwarded correctly. They closed down back in April and scammers are using their site now. I share my Internet with my neighbour (who has the modem), so I don't know if they have made any changes that could affect this, but the Internet works without a hitch.Ī couple things.

I haven't installed any new programs lately (though there was a bunch of windows updates two days ago - but that doesn't explain how the problem occoured, then got fixed, then occoured again). So, I'm a bit at my wits end here - does anyone know what I can do to try and get them started again?

Usually I use magnet links, but I've tried downloading the torrent file manually and then opening it in deluge afterwards as well, that doesn't change anything. I've tried adding torrents from different sources (thepiratebay, kat, eztv). Some of the new torrents I've added doesn't even "connect enough" to show me the size of the file (but other newly added torrents do, so it's not consistent). I've tried pausing all of them, only starting one at a time, changed the order of the trackers, updated the trackers, forced a recheck, restarted the program (as well as the computer). Yesterday and today though, the same problem occours - nothing downloads no matter what I do, and the "trick" of downloading another file doesn't work. I managed to "fix it" though, by downloading another torrent (that had many seeders, 300+) and that seemed to kickstart the others and they continued to download. Two days ago, all of the torrents I currently have "added" to deluge (about twenty) stopped downloading, even though there appeared to be seeders available (in the seeders collumn it says "0 (15)" for example). If the steps are followed correctly, at no point is the torrent traffic ever exposed to your ISP since the Firewall only lets all the traffic go to Windscribe VPN server.I'm a bit of a newbie with all of this, so my attempts at googling a solution to my problem has come up with naught. On Linux, run the command windscribe firewall auto to return it to automatic mode.

That's it, unless they have cracked the highest level of encryption somehow, they won't know what you are doing. When connected to the VPN in the desktop app, all your traffic is encrypted and your ISP is only seeing a garbled mess being transmitted to and from Windscribe. We give users as much as we possibly can to secure their internet connection.
